NCCR AntiResist seminars open to the general public are in the planning phase. Stay tuned for more information.

Current internal seminars open to the NCCR AntiResist Community include:

  • New Approaches to Tackle Antibiotic Resistance is a closed seminar series in the Autumn Semester 2020 for enrolled students and affiliated researchers at the University of Basel and the NCCR consortium.
  • Basel Infectious Disease Study Club is organized by two of our NCCR PIs at the Biozentrum and the University Hospital Basel and is open to clinicians and basic scientists with the aim to create a broader interdisciplinary exchange-platform. The Study Club meets multiple times a year and welcomes participants with diverse backgrounds while adapted to NCCR-relevant topics.


AntiResist organizes a biannual, international conference on antibiotic resistance.  The first of which will take place in the Spring/Summer 2022.

 "New Approaches to Combat Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria"  will take place at Congressi Stefano Franscini, in Ascona - Switzerland. The exact timeframe will be decided in the Spring 2021. Stay tuned!
